Frequently Asked Questions

1. What kind of paper are the photos printed on?

At present we are using Epson “Premium Glossy Photo Paper”.  We have tested and compared other types and brands and have found this paper to produce the highest quality print possible.  We use only genuine Epson ink.

2. Are black and white prints of the photos available?

In many cases, black and white and color film was exposed in two different cameras at the same time, so yes, a black and white print of a desired scene may be available in addition to the color print cataloged online.  Please inquire on a case by case basis.

3. How should I store my photos?

If framed and behind glass, we suggest that you use UV resistant glass, available at artist supply or framing stores.  For permanency, store the prints away from direct sunlight, extreme temperatures and high humidity.  The ink-based prints we produce are much more color stable than conventional “silver/dye” type photo paper.  If you intend to store the photos in binders we recommend high quality plastic folders with heavy weight acid-free paper stock inserted between back-to-back color prints.

5. Are more scenes and subjects available?

Yes, only a small fraction of the negative collection is featured online.  We will be expanding the online collection as quickly as we can while maintaining production quality.   There are literally thousands of negatives that have not been cataloged yet.  Again, please inquire with your specific needs and we will try to respond in a timely manner to your requests.

6. What if I am not happy with the photos that I purchased?

All sales are custom produced to your order and are final.  As such, we are not able to accept items returned to us.

7. Will other sizes of enlargements be available soon?

Yes, we intend to offer up to 13x39 inch enlargements as soon as possible.

 8. Do you offer international shipping?

Yes, we ship to most international addresses.
