About the Photographer and Website Designer

Paul LaCiura is a practicing civil engineer in the Bay Area.  Nahid (Barmaki) LaCiura has taught English as a Second Language and is currently pursuing a career in interior design.  In addition to photography, Paul enjoys prototype scale railroad modeling, is a student of steam-diesel transition era railroading, occasionally “sits-in” as a jazz drummer in the Bay Area and studies mallet percussion instruments.  Besides her avid interest in web design and computer graphics Nahid is an accomplished native dancer, has a black belt in karate and is studying classical piano.

Paul and Nahid make their home in San Francisco, California, across the street from the former Southern Pacific Lines 3^rd and Townsend Station.
